140 STORIES FROM NORWAY
My name is Erik Wibe, and at 91, I’m still living an active and fulfilling life. How? I’ve gathered my insights in this book.

This isn’t just a book about aging—it’s a book about life. About how to take care of your body and mind, find meaning in everyday moments, and make the most of every stage of life, whether you’re 30, 50, or 80.

I share experiences, stories, and insights to help you live with more energy, joy, and purpose.

"140 Stories from Norway is a surprisingly versatile book. I’d call it a practical guide to navigating the challenges of aging. It packs an impressive amount of wisdom into relatively few pages." – Leselampen

Forfatter og foredragsholder
Erik Wibe (b. 1933) grew up in Tromsø and currently lives in Oslo. He has led a varied and exciting life as a lumberjack, tennis player, forestry technician, author, factory owner, and businessman.
Many years ago, he started the project 140 STORIES FROM NORWAY , and now the book is finally written. With honesty and insight, he shares his experiences on aging and why it’s so important to take charge of life as you grow older—and, just as importantly, to prepare for it.
In the book, he also writes about diet, exercise and health, and how small steps can make a significant difference in the quality of life in older ages.
This is a book that speaks to you, whether you’re 30 or 90. Learn from life’s ups and downs, see things from a new perspective, and find inspiration along the way!

The book is packed with insight.
A rich mix of thoughtful reflections, humorous gems, tennis, life experiences, and politics..

"Without a doubt, this is a valuable book for older readers looking for inspiration in life. But it’s just as useful for younger readers - not only for shifting perspectives on aging but also for gaining insight into a powerful history at risk of being forgotten. And when these younger readers grow older, I believe the book’s relevance will remain, as most of its advice is universal, lasting, and deeply useful."
