About Erik Wibe
Erik Wibe is living proof that age is just a number. At 91, he continues to inspire both young and old with his vitality, zest for life and unique stories. As the author of the recently published book "140 Stories from Norway", he shares his reflections on aging with dignity, curiosity and joy – and he challenges stereotypes about what old age can and should be.
Erik has lived a diverse life. He has worked as a forestry technician, lumberjack, businessman, and tennis player, and has run his own company. His experiences from a life filled with challenges and adventures form the foundation of his book, which explores everything from the importance of being seen to embracing life fully—even when the world around you seems to change.
Today, Erik still trains 5-6 times a week. His dedication to physical activity is a key part of how he stays healthy, strong and energetic. Exercise not only provides health benefits, but also mental clarity and a reminder that you are never too old to take care of yourself.
Through his passion and life philosophy, Erik shows that aging is not about limitations but about finding new ways to live richly and meaningfully. His story inspires us to embrace all phases of life with an open mind and an active heart.
